SwingSearch helps tech startups make their most important hires. They had a WordPress site that had become impossible to update because of dozens of competing plugins and conflicts with Elementor.
We revamped the site with an eye toward simplicity, using native WordPress blocks, Full Site Editing and just a few essential plugins. Their elegant new site is a breeze to navigate and update.

The Joel Cornette Foundation
Founded by the family of the late Butler basketball star, The Joel Cornette Foundation provides research funding to study, predict and prevent sudden cardiac arrest among athletes.
Their WordPress website needed a refresh, and they needed to modernize registration and payments for their annual fundraising weekend in Cincinnati, which includes a celebration and golf outing.
I fixed up the site, set up registration and payments through GiveButter, and integrated the new payment system into their site.

For more than a decade, I have been working with foundations and businesses on all aspects of their digital presence, from websites to social media to newsletters. Before going solo, I spent seven years as executive editor of Golf.com and seven more in a variety of editorial roles at The New York Times.
I live in Maplewood, NJ, and have a master’s in journalism from Mizzou and a bachelor’s in English from Notre Dame.
